cabinetry.
From the hand selection of each piece of wood, to the final inspection; standards of
excellence have been established for each piece of cabinetry that is produced at
Wettengel Woodworking. Truly custom, we build each order to match your exact
specifications of height, width, depth, door style and finish selection.
Located in Batavia, Illinois, we service the Chicagoland area. Working with designers,
architects, contractors & homeowners, we bring fine quality craftsmanship to homes &
businesses in the area.
Steve Wettengel is the president/owner of Wettengel Woodworking. Along with his wife
Barb, he oversees & takes part in the process of bringing you fine furniture and
cabinetry. They are a family business which started many years ago with Steve's
father Joe and his partner in a small shop in St. Charles, Illinois. As the business grew,
he knew he needed a larger facility and Steve joined him in the present location in
Batavia in 1981.
Over the years Wettengel Woodworking has been featured in many magazines such
as Home, Northshore, Chicago Home, American Homestyle & Gardening, Better
Homes & Gardens Kitchen Planning Guide, County Home and Great American
Kitchens. We have also appeared in the Chicago Tribune and the Kane County
Chronicle.
